Serving the Niagara and Hamilton Region, Westridge is seeking a full time dynamic Human Resources Generalist to grow with our entrepreneurial, service driven team.

Working with our team of highly skilled professionals, your primary focus will be supporting the HR needs of our clients through HR administration, employee relations, recruitment, health and safety and policy management. Our goal at Westridge is to come along side small to mid size companies and HR departments to provide Human Resources and Benefits solutions. Our HR Advisors provide a wide variety of HR services and service clients in both the private and not-for-profit sectors.

In this role you will:

  • Provide on-site HR support including employee relations, recruitment, health & safety/disability and employee records management
  • Respond to inquiries and providing direction with respect to HR policies and procedures
  • Execute HR programs and processes; including new employee orientations, WSIB reporting, Early and Safe Return to Work Programs
  • Draft HR related correspondence and developing HR related documents including Employment Offers, Announcements, and Company HR Policies
  • Full cycle recruitment including creating job ads, posting, screening, executing offers of employment and associated paperwork as well as orientation presentations
  • Identify HR priorities and initiatives that align with Company business objectives

Your progressive background includes the following:

  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Post graduate certificate in HR preferred
  • Working towards CHRP
  • Presentation ability and public speaking ability
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks
  • Professionalism, discretion, integrity, and sound judgement in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
  • Process-oriented with a strong bias towards action
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our clients
